government promote and motivate
farmers for silkworm farming (Reshim
Sheti).
Silkworm farming is having highest subsidies in agriculture sector around Rs.270,000.00,also having rate around 250 t0 Rs.550.00 per kgs for cocoons. If farmers started farming Silkworm in 1 acre of land he is able to earn around 2.5 lacs to 4 lacs in span of 13 month, and once he planted TUTI it stays around 20 year, required only 30% water as compare to sugarcane.
Due to lack of awareness, technical knowledge, market availability and investment farmers are not interested in cultivation of silk warm farming.
We are starting Silk Processing Unit
where we buy cocoons from the farmers
with rate assurance. Also provide them
technical guidance, helping them for
getting government subsidies. Ultimately
farmer will get additional income source
by utilizing his available resources
